My fav hangout spots in London to check out of reality

Gosh, the last few weeks have been hectic! I've been busy settling into my new job, looking into moving and pretty much trying to find out what I want to do in my life. I've also neglected my health and lifestyle routine. With all of the new things in my life and stresses I didn't quite know how manage my time and take some of it for myself. For the past few months I have been constantly on the go. My excuse is always 'I don't have enough time', no time to read that book I bought months ago, no time for breakfast in the morning and no time to meet up with friends because I have a million other things to get done before I can even think about doing that and honestly that is all a load of crap!

When I had to take a day off work to see a doctor about my ongoing cold I knew that I had spent enough time not caring about myself. I decided not to be stressed about work, make sure I had a healthy breakfast in the morning and started to do some of the things that I love. In a busy city like London its hard to find space and a quiet zone but maybe it doesn't have to be a quiet place, just somewhere that you feel comfortable.

Carluccios - 8 Market Place, Fitzrovia, London, W1W 8AG

The first place I want to go when I feel like a home cooked meal and a chill vibe is Carluccios, specifically the one just off Oxford Street in the market place. It has a great set menu where you can chose a delicious pate or bruschetta, a yummy main meal and a to die for desert. I always come here with my laptop, its a busy cafe but hidden away in a backstreet off the busiest street in London and thats what I love about it!

Starbucks - 2/3 Conduit Street, Mayfair, London, W1S 2BX

Another one of my favourite places to go is Starbucks! I know you're probably thinking this is such a basic white girl place to go but this is a particular Starbucks hidden away down a small street right next to the hustle ad bustle of Regent Street. This is one of my all time favourite places, the downstairs area is where I like to be, it has booths, wifi and comfy couches which is the perfect place to snuggle up and read a book and blog, with coffee and food right above you!

Hyde Park - I think you'll be able to find the address pretty easily

Hyde Park is an obvious escape, its right in the centre of the city but the city sounds are drowned out by the trees, lake and wildlife. I love walking around the lake and sitting on any of the park benches in the sun (on the odd chance that there is sun in England) and putting my phone down, reading my book and taking in what is happening around me! I can't wait until I can have days like this again in the summer sun.

Everybody's go to places will be different and maybe some people will need a lot more space, like jumping on a train out of the city, but for now these are my hidden gems in the city! Let me know your favourite places to hang out below!

Sorry for the lack of posting last week, as I said before I had a lot to sort out and I didn't have a clear mindset to sit down and write a decent post for you lovely people! Have an amazing easter break and stay safe! I'm heading to The Little Festival in London tomorrow, I'll keep you updated!
